Description

You can observe the Brevon resurgence, which emerges directly from the Roc d'Enfer massif after a long underground journey. Place your hand in the water... refreshing!

Guided steps

From the Chèvrerie chairlift parking lot, follow the forest track on the right bank of the Brevon.
The forest track leads to the Finge and Favières mountain pastures (1).
As you reach Les Favières, Roc d'Enfer (2244 m) rises steeply in front of you.
200 m after the Favières chalets, continue on the main track to the left
towards the Pointe de Chalune.
At the second crossroads, continue straight on towards Col de Foron/Pointe de Chalune.
Cross a small stream, then come to a short, fairly steep climb.
Turn right through the forest towards the source of the Brevon. You'll pass through a magnificent forest, where the misshapen spruce trees are reminiscent of legendary creatures.
Follow this path between two large boulders, then cross a small footbridge.
You'll then reach a wider path, which you should follow to the logs
the stream below the source of the Brevon.
At this point, climb 30 m to the left along the stream to discover the Brevon resurgence.
discover the Brevon resurgence (2).
For the descent, take the track and follow it to an intersection.
At this point, turn right onto the wider forest road that leads to La Chèvrerie.
