La Chapelle d'Hermone" snowshoe trail

This trip gives you incredible views of Lake Geneva. You will also see the Chapelle d'Hermone devoted to the Virgin Mary (completed in 1517) and its way of the cross.

Route details:
Set off from Col du Feu to Feu hamlet along a little road on the left above the road to Thonon.
Go through the hamlet and continue on the trail. You have spectacular views of Lake Geneva throughout the trek until you reach Notre Dame d'Hermone.
Go back along the same route to reach Col du Feu.
Variation: You can go along Hermone ridge to the peak of Reyvroz on Montagne aux Sœurs following the GR's red and white markings. This route requires an additional 1.5 hours (there and back).
